CSPD students shine at Australian All Schools Athletics titles

Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) students have achieved impressive results at the recent Australian All Schools Athletics Championships in Brisbane. Simply qualifying for All Schools is an amazing achievement, but many CSPD students went on to secure a podium finish, proving they’re among the elite athletes in their age group.

2025 Parramatta Diocesan PRIMARY Team Sport Trials Nominations are OPEN for the sports of: AFL, Hockey, Football (Soccer), Netball, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Softball & Touch. The expression of Interest registration window is OPEN for the sports listed above and nominations close on 7th February 2025. It is important to note that these trials are generally for those students that MUST demonstrate an ABOVE AVERAGE ability, HIGH LEVEL OF SKILL DEVELOPMENT, or in particular sports demonstrate REPRESENTATIVE playing experience in their nominated sport. In most sports, students should have experience playing regular competitions outside of school. Click on the link below or scan the QR code to nominate for 2025. A copy of responses to the submitted form will be emailed to the address provided in the EOI. One nomination per sport. This online registration is an EXPRESSION OF INTEREST ONLY and MUST be approved by the student's school after the closing date. The school approves students based on playing history and selection criteria for the student to attend the nominated trial or event. NSW Rugby Union Juniors would like to announce the running of our inaugural NSWJRU Tri Tag State Championships to be held at Riverwood Park, Riverwood on Sunday 9th March 2025. These State Championships will be open to entries by Club, Zone, District or Schools teams. We understand people have busy lives, so have created a 'Lightning Format' - which means we have arranged the draw for teams to only have to hang around for a maximum of 3 hours (if your team makes the finals). Age groups will be U7-U9 Minis (Mixed) U10-11 Boys U12-U14 Boys U15-U18 Boys U10-U11 Girls U12-U14 Girls U15-U18 Girls Mixed All Ages Age group (Parents + Kids together - must include 3 players under age of 14, on field at all times) - great opportunity for parents and kids to play together. Capacity & Format allows for 16 teams ONLY per age group - it will be done on a first in - first served basis. Four Pools of 4 with top 2 teams progressing to finals. Entry is open to teams from both Club and Schools.... Don't delay as spots will fill quickly. Polding & MacKillop affiliated students register through csnsw.sport portal as per usual sport registration.
