CSPD’s Innovate RAP 2025-2027

Our Innovate RAP builds upon the foundations of our Reflect RAP and outlines clear, measurable actions that will drive lasting change across our organisation and school communities.

This next stage of our reconciliation journey is focused on deepening relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, embedding cultural learning, providing equitable opportunities through employment and procurement as well as strengthening respect through meaningful two-way engagement and collaboration.

Our Innovate RAP will be governed by our RAP Advisory Committee with representation from both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and non-Indigenous peoples as well as internal and external leaders who will drive reconciliation across our organisation and throughout our communities.

CSPD is committed to listening, learning, and walking together towards a more equitable and unified future.

Our RAP journey

Most Rev Vincent Long Van Nguyen OFM Conv

In September 2021, CSPD formalised its commitment to reconciliation by launching its first RAP, Reflect, which was successfully implemented by September 2022. Despite being on the journey of reconciliation for years through our commitment to First Nations education, it was through the Reflect RAP that CSPD began to deepen its understanding of reconciliation and the importance of humbly approaching this work, as well its sphere of influence and ways it can make a positive impact across the organisation.

As a result of the Reflect RAP, CSPD began developing its Innovate RAP with a refreshed approach allowing for First Nations peoples to lead and inform this work. The Innovate RAP was formally launched in July 2025 and we look forward to building on the existing work from the Reflect RAP into the delivery of our Innovate RAP.

Jarara Cultural Centre is an integral part of how we share culture, build capacity and provide pastoral care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and their families.
