Applications for the 2025 CSPD Teacher Scholarship Program will open in August 2025.
With 80 schools across Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains, around one in five local students attends a Catholic school. This exciting program is aimed at current Year 12 students at one of CSPD’s 25 secondary schools looking to commence a full-time Primary or Secondary teaching degree next year at an Australian university.
In February 2024, we welcomed 102 aspiring educators to the 2024 CSPD Teacher Scholarship Program, during Welcome Orientation days held at St Patrick's Cathedral, Parramatta.
Executive Director of Catholic Schools Jack de Groot is excited about the opportunity for graduates of Catholic schools in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains to work in local schools as future teachers.
"I’m so proud of our young graduates, and of our excellent local Catholic schools,” Jack said. “These outstanding young leaders are prime candidates to continue to make a contribution to Catholic education and to our community as future teachers.
